Prisoners of Paradise Ambleside

Prisoners of Paradise (also released as Ambleside) is a 2025 romantic period drama directed by Mitch Jenkins and adapted from Romesh Gunesekera's novel. Set in 1925 colonial Mauritius, the film follows a young English orphan who defies her controlling uncle by falling in love with a local plantation laborer.
