Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018), set ten years after the original, follows rebellious former pilot Jake Pentecost (John Boyega) as he reunites with Mako Mori to lead a new generation of Jaeger cadets against a terrifying new Kaiju threat and rogue technology. Joined by hacker Amara, they must stop an evolved alien plot to destroy humanity.
