Monolith

Monolith (2022) is a tense, single-location sci-fi thriller about a disgraced journalist (Lily Sullivan) who starts an investigative podcast, Beyond Believable, to salvage her career, focusing on mysterious black bricks appearing in people's lives, which leads her to uncover an alien conspiracy and shocking truths about her own past and family. The film builds psychological horror and paranoia as she interviews callers, slowly realizing the alien artifact's connection to her own history and the lies she's built her life on.
