The 2014 "Vampire Academy" movie, based on Richelle Mead's young adult novel series, follows Dhampir Rose Hathaway and her Moroi best friend Lissa Dragomir as they navigate their secret boarding school, St. Vladimir's Academy, and face dangers from evil Strigoi vampires while dealing with forbidden romance
